Last day of Beasties- I cannot believe that our little girl is getting so old! By the way, the outfit is a wonderful hand me down from Lucy!

Snow Shoe

Instead of getting letting the rain get us down, we decided to get out and enjoy the winter snow. And look it was SUNNY! ChrisO was a trooper carrying Lilly- and she loved it. We stopped and listened to all the sounds and talked about the difference between a stream and a river. It was a wonderful family day.

Why does Henry have a mouth?

We are loving watching Lilly's brain develop.

Lilly: "Mama, why does Henry have a mouth if he does not talk?"
Mom: "What else do you do with your mouth?"

Long pause. . .
Lilly: "eat, but Henry does not eat he just drinks"
Mom: "One day Henry will eat and talk".

Lilly: "Oh" Her response to everything!

Henry at 5 Months

Where is the time going? Here is Henry at the fab five month mark; he is getting to be one big dude! Besides physical growth, the Hen-Man continues to get more interactive, is grabbing anything he can get his paws on, and is starting to sit up on his own. His smiles are still contagious, and he loves his big sister (she can make him laugh the hardest).

Back to work!!

Now I am officially back to work- and it is true juggling all of this is quite hard. I am finding the transitions the worst- going to work and leaving work. Once I am at work, I am fine. And I am loving using my brain- but most of all, being in control of something. Having two kids, makes me feel out of control all the time.

The best part is that I am only 3 days a week. I still get time with the kids. The worst part is that I am only 3 days of week and my work load is too large, so I am working on my days off.

During the day I miss somethings. . . and not others. I thought I would make a list and leave it up the the readers discretion.

1. The post nap smiles. . .

2. The blow outs that you can smell across the room and require you to hose your child off afterwords.

3. The constant chattering - either Lilly telling a story or making up a song and Henry learning to talk.

4. The lack of stress at night. Now we have to get the milk, diaper bag, work bag, etc ready to go.

5. The ability to get errands done during the week without the weekend traffic.

6. Social time with friends- at any old time.

SEA-HAWKS

Wow, what a game on Saturday, and look at the newest 12th Man! The Hawks go down in NFL history as the first team with a losing record to win a playoff game, as they KO the defending Super Bowl champs in "beast mode" style. Welcome to the NFL Playoffs, Henry!
