all 4's for the 4 year old.
Dr. Kumasak said she looked great! 40lbs and 40 inches at 4! She is growing great.

Our BIG GAL is 4!!
Lilly is officially a preschooler. We are having a great time with her. The terrible 3's are over! The tantrums were rough! Lilly is a very emotional child - at times it was tough for her to deal with all the emotions of a 3 year old. Few things that we love.
1.) Lilly loves Henry. She has started reaching out to him more to play- read to him and watch over him. She gives him loves - during his tantrums.
2.) Lilly is learning how to be a friend - she has a great group of girl friends at school- who are all quite bright- but at times can be a bit "verbally" rough on each other. She is learning how to talk without hurting feelings.
3.) Lilly has started to read- the Bob books of course. She is very interested in reading and writing.
4.) Lilly loves to try anything - cooking- t-ball - swimming- ballet.
5.) Lilly is very inquisitive. She ask more questions than anyone. At times - even her mom can be overwhelmed with the question. She is really trying to learn!
6.) Her "friends" are a big part of her life- real and stuffys. The stuffys include Donald (or otherwise known as Dunald by Lilly)- Minny- Micky- Tigger and Bitty (of course). Dunald somehow always gets into trouble. We learn so much about school and the residents through her school time.
7.) Lilly loves special time- one on one with her parents. This can include working on number- letters - reading or games. She is learning that she cannot always go first and not always win.
8.) Eating and cooking are some of the favorites- for all of us!
9.) She an artist! We pick her up at school and she has at least 5-10 pieces of new art from school each day.
10.) She is our big girl! We are constantly amazed with her loves - her smiles -her questions. And we don't want her to grow up!

Lilly's big day!!
Today, mom had a special day with Lilly for her 4 th birthday! We had a relaxing morning with nana and papa and Henry. The took the bus downtown to the Soundbridge, library, lunch and movie (lorax). Of course a few treats too!! What a great day- I love how she held my hand, sat on my lap for the movie, and asked so many questions. Great day!!

Ed's 65 birthday!!
We had do much fun celebrating Papa's 65 birthday. The entire O'Claire clan came over for the weekend. We ended up going to the track to run out all the energy before a big dinner. Lilly and Henry both light up with their cousins. And of course there is always the sleep over. Cecelia and Jack stay in Lilly's room.
