Nana and Papa O'Claire

We are so lucky- Nana and Papa O'Claire took care of Lilly for 3 days this week while we went to work. They just loved their time with Lilly tons of walks, good food, and kisses. We all our still encouraging her to roll!

Cousin Lucy

Last week we had a chance to play with Cousin Lucy. Oh how we loved it. Tons of painting, paper mache, and the wading pool. I learned what it is like having two kids. Definitely not ready for that yet!

Back to work

This week I went back to work. It has been hard- really hard trying to transition back. I am starting off with only 3 days a week. We will get there.

Luckily, this week Nana Einstein has been taking care of Lilly. For the next 6 weeks, we have our family helping out- including dad helping out two of the weeks. Good thing I do like what I do and oh how nice it is to be on my schedule and using my the other side of my brain. Some how I find the Viaduct work interesting.
I sure misses Lilly and all of our adventures during maternity leave. We had a great time doing something every day with family and friends. As you all know, I do not sit well at home.

Cousin Reese

During our visit to California, we had a chance to visit with Cousin Reese. Actually, Reese is Lilly's second cousin. Shannon and Andrew, ChrisE's cousin, invited us over to meet their new little baby Reese who is 4 weeks younger than Lilly.

California Visit!

We just got back from our first plane trip to visit Grandpa Fred Andersen and Aunt Barbara! What a wonderful visit! Lilly's middle name is Andersen- named after all the wonderful memories we have had with the Andersen Clan. We learned a lot about the Andersen name - the Danish and German roots.

We had a wonderful time seeing Aunt Barbara's house and Lilly loved hanging out with Suzie (the dog)!

And we were able to go on our first plane trip. Nana did a wonderful job helping out- especially since ChrisO was not there! Lilly slept almost the entire way.

4 Month appointment

We had a wonderful visit with Dr. Kumasaka- we are 17.7 lbs and 25 inches. We are 99% in weight and 85% in height! We are only feeding 4 times a day- so the Doctor thinks that I have some "super" milk. Either way she is still sleeping like a champ!

Visitors

This weekend, we had a blast with Melissa and Todd visiting from Cleveland- and Kate and Will as they were about to depart to England.

We went hiking again. Lilly just loves being outside. But what is up with all the snow?

The Lil' Skipper

The 4th of July weekend brought more adventures for Lilly, as she was invited on Nana & Grandpa Einstein's sailboat for a wonderful three night trip to Port Madison (Bainbridge Island) & Port Ludlow. She loved being on the boat, taking long walks riding in the Bjorn, and getting to spend time with her grandparents & Uncle Brooks. And she even let her Mom & Dad sleep in each morning- it was a very nice & relaxing holiday!

Rise & Shine

One of our favorite times is waking up; Lilly always greets us with lots of smiles as she is ready for a brand new day. And we love that spikey little hairdo as well...
