Here Comes the Sun (and Lilly)!

Late May has brought a beautiful stretch of weather to the NW- in which Lilly has taken full advantage of. Lilly has finally started taking her first steps without holding onto our hands- sometimes she has to be bribed with a cookie to do so! She also went camping with her buddy Lucas at Lake Easton, soaked in a Mariners game (in which the M's beat the Red Sox in the 9th- take that all you obnoxious Sox fans that invaded Safeco Field that day), went on the sailboat to Bainbridge Island, journeyed to Yakima and played in the water, and finally got to meet up with Elizabeth Diepold! Whew! Oh and yes, for our little gal who has got quite the appetite - we took her to one Seattle's finest -- Salumis -- for a meatball sandwich! Yum!

Mother's Day- with the Sounders!

We had the most wonderful mother's day. ChrisO (and Lilly went all out!) Big family day just the way I wanted it. We took Lilly to her first Sounders Game- and she was amazing. We think she loved the opening fanfare the most- She kept on clapping as the soccer players entered the stadium. And then she even watched the game and said "ball, ball" continuously- while pointing at the field. We ended the day with a wonderful dinner with both sets of mothers - cooked by ChrisO!

Future Soccer player? We hope so!!!

Leap - Lilly's Frog (from Aunt Devon)

Lilly just loves her "rocking" frog that Aunt Devon made for her. She transformed a rocking horse into a frog- Lilly's favorite animal (or at least we love frogs since we call her our "lilly pad"). Thanks Aunt Devon!

Family Resemblance?

We were looking at some of 1-year baby photos and were a little bit in shock of just how much Lilly looks like her parents- especially her Mom! We'll let y'all be the judges...

Catching Up

It's hard to believe we haven't posted since Easter- Lilly certainly has been busy, as well as keeping her Mama & Dada busy. So much to tell -- and, if you come by, she'll even tell you in person! She has been talking, not quite walking, and best yet, dancing! Tonight was my favorite, as I asked if she wanted to take a bath and her face lit up and she exclaimed "Bath!" and crawled as fast as she could into the bathroom!
So let's you get caught up! She had a wonderful visit from her Papa and Nana O, which included a visit to the zoo, made new friends with Sophia and Griffin, and explored new parks with her Mama & Dada. And yes, there's that dancing bit...
