Today = when we were playing I spy on the way to school. Lilly pointed out the STOP sign. And then proceeded to tell me it was an octagon with 8 sides. I was shocked and asked her where she learned it. ELMO Mama. Possibly a bit of Sesame Street is ok!

ILC Newsletter- Lilly

Every month, Lilly's school does a newsletter. Quite often, she is featured. I wanted to make sure we documented some of the fun notes from this month.

"Discussing snack, a teacher asked, "How do you milk a cow?" Lilly answered, "You pick it up and tip it over."

Intergenerational Report: The students visit the Mount Residents- a few times a week.
"The children have enjoyed sharing hand puppets with the residents. Lilly had "Bingo" puppet-glove. She sang the Bingo song to the residents and they liked it so much some of them sang it all day. On the next visit, they asked the children to sing the Bingo song ago."

Rub dub dub. ..

Tonight, we did our first bath in the tub with our sister! Lilly loved it! And Henry is growing to like the water. It is quite cute. . .

Henry's first Visit to Yakima

Henry made his first visit to Yakima! We had a chance to meet all of NanaO and Papa's friends. Lilly of course loved all the attention!

Since Lilly is such a chatter box, she can really make us laugh!

The other day she said that she wanted to go to the store to buy a moon- "Which store is that?" she asked.

This morning she woke up and started telling me a story about a Spider Web that I tore down and that she was painting with Teacher Margaret. What!? For the first time she was telling me about her dreams.

2 months today!

Henry is 2 months today- it is tough thinking how old he is getting!
Weight - 14lbs 3 oz - 95% (1oz larger than his sister)
24.5 inches - 94% (but one inch longer!)
39.8 cm 47% (much smaller than his sister!

As you can see from the picture, his is smiling a ton right now. He is usually smothered by his sister. Sleeping till 4:00 or 5:00 am. YES! and does not like to nap in his crib.

The pillow in the background was made by our dear friend Megan Ohno Cohen. She spoils us with her wonderful projects! And note that she even did the piping around the pillow. We are so impressed!

California here we come

We had a family trip to CA- Pismo Beach for Cousin Chris Dwight's wedding. It was an Andersen reunion! All the Einstein's went- all 17 of us. On the plan home- we were 13 people. Crazy. Henry loved meeting his Great Grandpa Fred, sleeping and spending time with Cousin Caroline. Molly and I had many "feeding sessions" together - while everyone else was enjoying drinks! Lilly could not get enough of her cousins- and love saying Hi to all of her aunts and uncles. She was in hog heaven. Aunt Pinny and Aunt Brooke were some of her favorites on this trip! Lilly was very sad to see the trip end- and cried and cried for the "Beach House" and the "Grey car" and all of the cousins.

Lilly and Nolan were "cutting the rug" at the wedding. I do think that Nolan and Ellie had some of the best moves on the dance floor.

Why does Lill look so cute in a swim suit? How can you not love those buns!

We made so many drip sandcastles with the cousins.
