Lilly is continuing to learn - her bag of tricks is growing by the day. It has been a challenge capturing them on video, but we managed to snag a few while she was on her rocking horse.

11 Months

February 19th brings us to 11 months- it is so hard to believe Lilly is only one month away from her first birthday. It feels like this month has brought so many milestones and "firsts". Every day she is learning new tricks and is getting more mobile. Just tonight, after dinner, she was able to pull herself up into the standing position on her own! She also can point out her piggies, she sniffs (and laughs) when you ask her where her nose is, and is saying "Hi Dada" when she sees her Dada walk into the room. She also loves to give kisses, loves to read books, and is a world-class snuggler. Here we go, 1 year!

California Love

We just can't keep Lilly away from the California sun! She made her second trip down; this time, she finally got to meet Brook (and her dog Niko, who she really bonded with), meet up with our friends Sarah & Jeremy (who actually live just a few miles from Brook in Pasadena), and Devon & Dan were there to join in all the festivities! Saturday we went to Huntington Gardens and browsed the desert gardens and then went out for the infamous pork dumplings that Brook recommended for lunch (Lilly loved them, of course). Sunday we spent a beautiful afternoon in Malibu, hiking along the beach and at Point Dume. On Monday, we braved the torrential downpour and drove to San Clemente to visit Great Grandpa Fred & Aunt Barbara. They treated us to a great lunch and Fred gave a cooking demo of his Andersen famous poatao salad! We had a great trip & Lilly was a peach on the plane -- where is Lilly off to next? Stay tuned...

Time with Nana

We just loved this picture.

Lilly is Baptised

On Sunday- Lillian Andersen was baptised at St. Ignatius - the Seattle University Chapel with Kian Chow Liddell and Lochlen Emmett Liddell (two of her boy friends!). We are so lucky to have such a wonderful community!

Lilly in her Baptism Dress. .

The actual Baptism with Father Cobb. Yes she was submerged in the water!
