Camping Extravanga

This past weekend Lilly went camping for the first time, and joined all her Einstein cousins at La Wis Wis (near Packwood & Mt. Rainier) for a very fun weekend. The rain stayed away this year, and the gang had a great time swimming, enjoying smores & campfires, and just good ol' vegging out. Lilly did great and slept with Mom & Dad in a tent. Of course we had a to take a day hike at Chinook Pass on the way there, and then made a stop at Paradise on the way home.

Eberle Family Reunion

We've been so busy & now we're catching up with some of our fun summer events. On August 9th, we had an Eberle family reunion (everyone was there!), and it was Nana O's 60th birthday to boot! What better way for her to celebrate with her entire family?! We had a great day and are hoping Lilly gets to continue to meet and grow up with all her cousins.

5 months today!

Yes we are 5 months today! I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. It is so crazy to think that our lives have changed so much. We run home from work to see our little Lilly. We are just in awe watching her blow bubbles, attempting to roll, learning to sit up on her own, and trying out her voice.

We are just getting over our first cold, and we are proud to say that we are still sleeping through the night. Oh how that helps Mom and Dad at work!

Bath Time

Maybe it's the summer heat, Michael Phelps mania, or the thrill of being clean, but Miss Lilly has really taken to bath time and loves the water. We recently graduated from the kitchen sink to the actual tub- here are a few videos to enjoy!

The Triathelete

Lilly participated in her first triatholon today! OK, OK, so she didn't do the swim, bike, or even the run, but... she was an awesome cheerleader and gave her Mom the support she needed as she tackled the Danskin Triatholon! A big congratulations to Chris- Lilly & Dad are so proud! Devon & Anne also raced, which Lilly loved watching & rooting for!

Visiting Ellie and Nolan

We had a chance to head to Portland - oh how much fun it was to see the cousins. Nolan just loved tickling Lilly toes. He even tried to say her name. Ellie was quite shocked at the size of Lilly. "What a big girl she is! And her head is so big."

Grandma Bobbie

We are so lucky to have so much help with Lilly! Grandma Bobbie had a very relaxing day in West Seattle with Lilly. The story is that she slept most of the day.

The Pad and Dad!

This week- Dad is in charge and taking care of Lilly. They are having a great time. They sent this picture to mom at work- oh how it made my day!

Dad here- we had a great two days and played in West Seattle- we went to the wading pool & swings on Monday & were beach bums at Alki today. So sad to go back to work, but I have a whole week coming up!
