We have had a great time watching Lilly and Henry interact lately. They are playing together. They can make each other laugh so hard, and now that Henry is a bit more mobile - he is trying to keep up with his sister. He already knows how to get her goat - pulling her hair and stealing her Bitty Baby. At times, I think Henry is sad when Lilly is not around. He is constantly looking for her. We are so glad that they are both part of our life - our family is complete!

Sibblings
We have had a great time watching Lilly and Henry interact lately. They are playing together. They can make each other laugh so hard, and now that Henry is a bit more mobile - he is trying to keep up with his sister. We are so glad that they are both part of our life - our family is complete!
Big Guy!
Big Guy! Yes Henry had a great time in Hawaii too. Was it the 2 times a day nap (that he cannot get at school), the sand, the long days with his parents/cousins, or the wonderful weather. He loved playing in the sand, and was found crawling away to the ocean when we were not looking. He started saying a few words again- (for some reason he took a break while he is learning to walk!) mama, dada, boo (for book), B (for ball). He loved watching people on the beach.

Unfortunately, Henry got a fever and another ear infection while we were in Hawaii. After a funny trip, to the Kaloa urgent care (it felt like we were at an island clinic!) we got the medicine.
Henry loved the fresh fruit- pineapple especially! And all the high calorie PouPous (we all did!).
Most of all - He just loved sitting in the sand. Possibly, he was studying the waves.
Big Girl
Big Girl - is getting so old. We really feel like she is a preschooler now! As you can see she was quite adventurous in Kauai. We are learning change is hard for her, she always likes to know what is next - she is a planner. Much like her mom and dad! The first couple days before we got to the condo, she was quite unsure "where are the cousins? Where are we sleeping tonight?" Once we were situated she was much more comfortable.
Few things we have been noticing, Lilly is really interested in reading. Always asking what words say, and starting to sound things out. She is constantly asking questions "Why do we have blood?" "Why do people in Kauai only wear flowers?" "Why can you see the moon during the day?" The best part is that she is starting to answer some of her own questions.

At first, Lilly was not so sure about the ocean and the waves. After a day or so, she realized how wonderful the ocean is (especially in Hawaii!). She loved jumping the waves, making sandcastles with her cousins, and most of all being burried in the sand.
She even tried surfing the waves - possibly next time she will try standing up! :) Thanks to uncle Matt for the help.
By the end, she was quite a swimmer. She was swimming by herself with her goggles on- for short distances. We are working on the kicking, but most of all trying to get the head up to breath.

Grandpa Turns 70
We were very lucky to be invited to spend Grandpa's 70th birthday in Kauai with him! One of our favorite places. The kids threw a party for grandpa and then later the adults went out the best way to do it!
We are so thankful for Grandpa AL- He has worked all of his life to make sure that we could have every opportunity. We are so greatful. He cares so much about each and everyone of us!Most of the grandkids - we were sad not to have Emma and Lucy with us!
Thanks grandpa for always prioritizing your family! We are so greatful!

15 months
Look who is 15 months - (posted a bit late!). Henry is 85% for height and 90% for weight (28lbs). This is why we call him Big Guy. He is signing - thank you, please, more, milk, food, etc. He is trying to talk - but mostly grunts to get attention. It is so cute. Still the happy easy going guy. He is starting to get busier- getting into things his sister never touched (plants, pots, toilet paper, under the sink, etc.) He loves to climb things as he crawls around- trying to climb up stairs and on stools. Still an amazing sleeper - goes down very easily, but a light sleeper. In Kauai, he was waking up at 5am, but I guess I cannot complain - since we were on vacation. A real charmer - his chuckle makes everyone laugh.

Hen Man
Hen Man - or should we call him Henry Bible? or BaBa? All of our nick names. He is coming alive. Now signing a few things- more, thank you, bye, milk, touchdown, and please. For some reason, he is refusing to do all done!
He was able to show us many of his body parts today. We have been asking him for weeks. and then today he whips them all out. Very typical- he knows much more than he leads on. He just does not want to do things when asked!!
Lately, he has been playing with Lilly a ton- they make each other laugh so hard.
