Hawaii

Great family trip. 11 days on a Kauai. We love the Turkey get always. We never eat turkey, rather fish. We drink too many Mai Tais and kid tails. We enjoy "puka dogs!" Swim all day. And occasionally go for a hike. Lilly and Henry are now both big swimmers! Lilly is working on her karate cuts and ballerina toes (crawl stroke) and her frog swimming (breast stroke). Henry is not affairs at all and will almost drown! Every time he came up for air he would have a huge grin on his face.

Cousin time was the best! All close enough in age. Henry just love little C and looks up to Nolan. Ellie adores Ellie and loves telling little C what to do. The highlight may have been spending so much time with Bennett. He is such a sting guy.

Turtles, monk seals, whales and tons of fish. Lilly lived snorkeling. And Henry loved playing aquarium in the water.

Of course we returned to snow in Seattle. Henry could not stop asking "is it Christmas?" And he wanted to know if our tree was up! I love the ignorance.

Aquarium party

A highlight of the year is the aquarium party. Uncle will as a board member invites us every year. The kids love the games, and running through the aquarium with the cousins like they own it every year.

Halloween parade

Lilly's school goes all out gor Halloween. Art, snacks, haunted places, everyone dresses up. I came for the parade and went to every classroom. What a tradition!!

So great to be in the new house! I cannot believe it. We had over 150 trick or treaters. NannaE and grandpa came to help, so wonderful to get to know the neighborhood. Wonderful people! Henry loved the candy. He had so many pieces. Lilly loved seeing her friends.

Lilly we want you to know we just hosted your entire grade for a kegger. We "floated the keg". When you get older, remember we are cool too.

Cookie monsters

Henry and Lilly both asked to do our annual halloween cookie making. Henry ate the frosting, our sweet lover. And Lilly only had one cookie and then said they were too sweet. Rylee Hill joined us, she loves to make cookies.

Lilly ran 2 miles at the move a thon impressive. She even woke up sore. We love that we may have a little runner.

Schmitz walk to school

We are loving our neighborhood school! So many volunteers. Today was national walk to school day. They organized walking buses. Great fun. Lilly is hidden behind the sign.

Pumpkin patch

Possibly we did too many things. Our kids were tired, but it was such a beautiful day and we wanted to see out good friends. And then Lilly got stung by a bee. We left in tears.
