Alki Beach Fun Run

We all ran in the NW Hope & Healing 5K fun run on Alki Beach this past Sunday, and Dad & Pad led the charge (we were the first runner/stroller combo to cross the finish line in just over 22 minutes!). We are proud of Mom and all that she does for the organization - it is a wonderful cause and maybe next year Lilly will be running on her own and Dad will be pushing Hen-Man!

Mamma's boy

Yes. Henry and I spent a wonderful weekend away in Boston visting some friends out east. And he is hitting the age appriopriat - MAMMA's BOY. He was a great travel companion. And in a weird way, it was so easy just to have one child.

Birthday

We had a wondeful birthday weekend with Henry! We did a great family party with Cousin Caroline. How great it is to have a cousin so close in age!

We had to blog this. .. this is the classic Lilly move. Don't worry we try to stop her every time, but she has this way smothering him - and clenching her teeth. It is hysterical - well Henry does not think so! Watch out Lilly one day he is going to get you back.

Henry is one!

I cannot believe that our little guy is one! Where have the days gone!? Our little guy is growing very quickly. He is 26 lbs (85%) and he is 98% for height. We think he may be the largest O'Claire!! He may have the Einstein boy genes. We say he is easy going and he is, but he is starting to assert his personality more. He clearly lets us know when he does not want to eat something. Throws it on the floor, or pushes it off the table. There is a ton of head shaking - saying no! He has a hand full of words- mama, dada, nigh-nigh, car, ball, hi, bye, and possibly a few more. Still not crawling or walking, but we will get there! (may take PT!) We are loving his smile and his laugh. He goes crazy over zerberts and tickles. He loves his sister- and they make each other laugh the most. Oh yes he has had 5 haircuts!! We are loving watching our little guy grow- but we may need to call him our BIG GUY now!!
