Halloween

We had a great Halloween. Henry got the concept and was able to go up and take candy from strangers. (such a funny holiday that we have!) Lilly was running from house to house - not wanting us to socialize. She said all the appropriate things and thanked everyone. She was on fire. We now have way too much candy.

Last year- Lilly did not ask for her candy after Halloween. She did not get that it was her candy. We think this year is different. Henry on the other hand was caught trying to even out the pot after we combined all the candy. He wanted his candy in his basket. He had more than his fair share of candy. Every time we turned around he had candy in his mouth.

Great day for mom to take a vacation day - especially with all the festivities at the Mount. I love watching the kids interact with the residents.

Below are some great pictures with Ellery Morris Burgard from her first birthday party. We loved seeing the lady bug turn one.

Aquarium Halloween

The best part of having Uncle Wheels (will) on the aquarium board is the Halloween party. We are so lucky to be invited- they turn it into a spooky aquarium, with games, food, and a haunted house. Of course Henry loved the fish, the divers dressed up, and the underwater pumpkin carking! Also, he pulled a star fish out of the tank and tried to walk away with it! thanks to aunt Brooke for helping! Lilly love hanging with the cousins (and not mom and dad) and had tons of questions why the fish were not dressed up, she loves asking silly questions that she knows the answer to.

Some fun (I phone) pictures of Henry holding hands with octopus Cousin Caroline and the cousins!

Girls night out!

For my birthday, the kids and Chris ( really Chris) gave me three experiences. Cooking class with Chriso, dinner and play with Lilly, and train ride with Henry. Below are the fun pictures from our dinner ( lilly liked my ahi tuna better than her grilled cheese) and the Cat and the Hat. It was so great to be out with the Big Girl. She was a wonderful companion for the evening. I look forward to more nights together as she gets older.
