Crawling

Hen Man is crawling- yes he did it! We have been going to Physical Therapy with him and it is paying off he loves- Miss Chella. And the attention he gets from 3 adults to one kid. It is almost the opposite of day care. They are very impressed with his progress and is continuously giving smiles to everyone there. Miss Chella says that she is going to take him home if we are not careful. He is a heart throb and only at 13.5 months!

We are so proud of our little Hen Man!

Henry starts at the Mount!

We are so sad that our time is over with our Nanny Ana, but we are looking forward to having Henry at school with Lilly. All morning long, Lilly kept on saying- "Henry is going to my school". And then tonight she was talking about how she saw Henry in the YTR room. Henry did great- well we only did a 1/2 day. We hired Ana to help 0ut. He loved the social aspect, and of course the food! But, had a bit of a hard time with Mom coming and going from the room. Our big guy- is going to really grow in this classroom! We are excited a few of the friends from Lilly's class have siblings in the room!

Here is to our BIG GUY that is really becoming a Big Guy- all too quickly for his mom and dad!

PreSchool Bug Room

Today is Lilly's first day of Preschool- the Bug Room. We are loving our time at the Mount and so is Lilly. The transition seemed flawless today, of course the school has been working on it for the past few weeks. Lilly was so excited to be reunited with some of her old friends. Here is one her dearest friends Lucia that we have known since birth- and this is the first time they are going to be in the same class!
All morning she kept on saying "Mom- I don't like Toddler 2" (her old classroom). I said that is not very nice. She said "I like the teachers- but I don't like the room, babies are in that room now". It was amazing to me how much she really understood the change.
I cannot believe how big girl she is- already wanting to know how to read, sounding words out, loving reading stories to us. And, just watching her develop friendships. Hearing the stories at school is one of the highlights for us.

Looks like our BIG GIRL is really becoming a Big Girl.

Ana- oh how we miss her

We were so lucky to meet the Rajartnams and to get connected with Ana. We loved having a Nanny for Henry for his first year of life. We are excited to start Henry at the Mount for him to be at the same place as his sister, but we will miss the one on one attention of Ana. Henry loved Ana and Ana loved Henry. He never cried when we dropped him off. He was all smiles for Ana! She cares so much for her babies - and did such a great job of caring for him. We will miss our morning drop offs at the Rajartnams, Ana's Spanish texts with updates on Henry, Ana's besos (kisses), and much much more. Lilly was able to learn so much about other cultures and Spanish from our visits with Ana.

We will also miss Kirin Rajartnan and the entire family they moved to California. They were so welcoming to Henry and all of us!!
