New friends. . .
Our new friend Jack Evanson- he is almost exactly 4 weeks behind us. The funny thing is that we thought "Auntie" Kym would deliver before me because she was put on "modified bedrest" at 30 plus weeks. It turns out that she went full term! Yippeee and Jack is healthy and happy. We are so excited for these two little boys to grow up together, especially since Lucus and Lilly are such good friends.

Two and a Half!
Lilly is 2 1/2 today! Where have the days gone. Lilly is quite the little girl. Below we have listed some memories for you Lilly.
1. Lilly loves her new brother and she is a wonderful big sister. Her favorite thing is to snuggle up with him on the floor right next to his head. She would never "intentionally" hurt Henry. We did have one incident where she tried to give him an underdog in the swing- luckily Henry was ok!
2. Lilly is a chatter box- she will sing, talk and now most recently make up stories in the car, the stroller, at the dinner table, or anywhere. At first, she can come across shy or quiet, but just give her a few minutes and she will be yelling your name from across the park.
3. Lilly is cautious, much like her dad, but once she figures something out such as the rope at the park, she is quite confident and will do it again and again!
4. Lilly loves to eat (much like her parents!). Smoked Oysters, fennel salad, roasted beats, Gorgonzola cheese, she likes it all. We have not found anything that she will not try. Some days she does not prefer certain foods, but that is different.
5. Lilly loves to clean. At times, we think she makes messes just to give her the opportunity to clean it up. Oddly we have to prohibit the clean up, because she sees it as the reward.
6. Lilly knows all her letters, numbers etc. She reads (or pretends to!). And we are working on the letter game to learning what letters start certain words.
7. Lilly is a girlly girl. Much different than her mother, Lilly loves to dress up, play with dolls, and pink is one of her favorite color. Luckily, she loves to play soccer and garden also.
8. Ms. Independent. Lilly will dress herself, use the potty her self, and insist on doing most everything by herself. It takes us twice as long, but we are trying to appreciate her desire to be independent.
Lilly you light up our lives with your beautiful smile.
