How Was Your Day?

Through all the tears, trials, and tribulations, there are the moments as a parent that make it all worth it, and then some. This evening, as if Lilly knew I had a frustrating day at work, she ran to the car when I drove up to give me hug and even asked how my day was. At dinner, we always choose a person to give a blessing to; tonight Lilly chose me. As the cherry on top, she followed up with a "I love you Dada".

Zoo

We had a chance to hit the zoo with our cousins Emma and Lucy! Emma loves to lead Lilly around - this time they walked around the zoo acting like all the animals. We cannot wait till she can babysit.

Open wide

Lilly had her first Dentist appointment with Dr. Kae. She was a "super star!". The next day she even reminded me "Mama, I was a SUPER STAR at the dentist". She let them clean and count her teeth. We did not even realize, but she already has her 2nd year molars. Tells you what kind of parents we are.

Our Little Sailor

We had a chance to join Nanna (now know as Nan) and Grandpa on the boat in the San Juans. Lilly did great - sleeping by herself, riding in "grandpa's small boat", driving the boat, and waving at all the people "hello people". She constantly reminded us that she is a "Big Gal" - her new favorite phrase.

As we can see, baby brother is getting a bigger every day- this is me with only 4 weeks left.

Some little girls tried to teach Lilly how to hula hoop- she just loves copying the "Big Gals".

Nana is teaching Lilly how to "color in the lines".

4th of July

Forth of July- we visited the O'Claire's in Vancouver and the Einstein's in Portland!

Lilly loved watching the fireworks - but they were "too loud!" So we covered her ears.

Not quite sure who had more fun - the Dads or the kids!

And these were both Eagle Scouts. . . .

Lilly just loves her cousins - it is definately time to have a siblilng.

Father's Day

It rained hard on Father's Day - we were on our way to the zoo and changed our plans to head to the Museum of Flight. Lilly kept on saying "It is not going anywhere right?" We love our cautious gal!
