No accidents

Lilly is doing wonderful - on Monday she went to school with underwear and she did not have an accident at school all week! We are so impressed with our little gal - there is no turning back now even when brother comes.

We are getting read for "Cashew" or "Brother" - Lilly helped tear down her old room and get her new room ready. It was key that she was involved in the process. She is doing great and even stays in bed till we come get her out.

Little gym...

We have loved our Friday's at Little Gym. And for our verbal gal, a little extra confidence with the gross motor skills has been wonderful. Lilly started not wanting to do any of the exercises and not wanting to get near the beam. At our last class on Friday, Lilly did the beam all by her self and was swinging and hanging from the bars!! We are so proud of her. Thanks to Nanna E and Grandpa for the Little Gym classes for Christmas! It helped that Lilly loved "Teacher Sandy". We look forward to doing the classes again in the fall.

Lilly is successfully using the potty at home and telling us when she needs to go to the bathroom. Not quite sure about on the go, or when there are so many things going on. But we are on the way. . .

Mariner Fan

While the Mariners are a complete disaster this year, they have gained at least one new fan with Miss Lilly. She went to her second game this year with Nana and Papa and had a great time cheering for home team. While the team might be batting a collective .200, the Mariner Moose is hitting a grand slam in Lilly's book!

Cape 'n' Cod

The week following Memorial Day, we spent a family vacation on Cape Cod, or as Lilly liked to call it, Cape 'n' Cod or Cape the Cod. We had a fantastic trip- it was a fun adventure for the three of us, as we spent two days on Nantucket Island, followed by two days at a resort in Brewster (Lilly called them hello tells). The weather was warm and welcoming, considering the cold and rain we left behind in Seattle, and we enjoyed beachcombing, swimming, a variety of lobster, local breweries, and plenty of relaxation reading books and watching movies.

Visting the Hydes/Lawsons in Duxbury

We were so lucky to spend a few days in Duxbury with John, Meg (Lawson), Janie and Ellie Hyde. The highlight was definitely seeing our girls play together. The first thing Lilly said as she walked in the door is "Where are Ellie and Janie?" I guess her mama was talking a lot about them! They played so well together.


We were able to attend the baptism of Janie Hyde- my God Daughter. What a special treat to be a special part of Janie's life!

We only with that the girls lived closer to us!
