One Year Appointment

We cannot believe that Lilly is a year old! We had such a fun time reminiscing about her birth. Thinking "it was only last year." Everyone says the time flies, and they are right.

Lilly is still such a big gal 26.5 oz- 98% and 28.5 inches -28%. Yes chunks of love still has all her rolls. Dr. Kumasaka says not to worry- she will thin once she starts walking/moving more.

I was recently reminded that I need to document her words.
- mama, dada, papa, nanna, Emma,
- ball- she now points out any ball outside or on TV. She loves balls "ball, ball"
- og- her version of dog- she has many dog friends- Elenore, Henry, Kima, Niko, Rita, so many
-ickel, ickle- she tries to tickle her piggies
- animal sounds- she growls for a lion, ooohhhs for a monkey, mmmmm- for the cow, baba- for the sheep, chochoo- train,
-body parts- she knows the basic ones- mouth, teeth, head, hair, ear, knee, etc. but our favorite is when we ask her to blink her eyes- she closes her eyes real tight with a big smile.

We love Lilly's tricks.

Birthday Cake!

What a birthday party Lilly had! While we'll get some picstures up soon, we had to get the #1 highlight posted, her first cupcake! Hope you enjoy watching as much as Lilly enjoyed feasting!

Animals

Lilly loves to show off her tricks - she has been learning what the cow, monkey, and even the lion says! We finally caught a few of them on video!

Love my tights

Lilly is about to be a year old. . . still not walking. But, she stands by herself- very cautiously- for quite a while. She is considering taking a step. . .

We love our winter tights! And our fountain pig tail.

At the park

Lilly is quite busy these days! But still more verbal than she is mobile. Our favorites these days are asking her animal sounds. She growls for the lion, says mmmm. . . for a cow, and makes an O out of her mouth for a monkey. We are trying to focus on the sign language, but just love the other tricks too!

Between the snow storms this weekend, we had a family run to the park. A few pictures. . .
