Go Hawks!

Lilly experienced her first Seahawks victory this past Sunday, and was so overcome with relief & joy that she stood up and started to walk, while simultaneously saying her first words, "Super Bowl & Seahawks". OK, so a slight exaggeration, but she was happy (probably because her Daddy was pretty happy).
Happy Birthday!!!

The Beach!
This past weekend, we had a chance to go down to the Oregon beach with the O'Claire family. Whew- now that was fun. . .The cousins just loved playing together. Lilly loved the sand- This was her first time actually playing in the sand- Papa Ed just kept pouring it on her little toesies!
Lilly just loved playing with her cousins. Cece just loves holding Lilly and saying "oh you are so cute!" and "what else do you have to say Lilly". Then Jack he just does not know what to do with someone that is his own size. Actually, Lilly may weigh as much as his 15 month old cousin!
Lilly is tons of smiles- everywhere people say "she is such a smily baby!" We like to think so. . .

Lilly Snuggle
So- this has been a transition for all of us- me going back to work. ChrisO has been a huge help- every night instead of relaxing, we find ourselves getting ready for the next day- preparing the bottles, making lunches, cleaning the house, etc. So much to do and so little time. But, as you can see from our last post, we have made spending time with our little "Lilly Pad" a priority. We just love the snuggle time.

School
This week Lilly started "school"- day care. It was the hardest thing we have done as parents. While it is a wonderful place, we are still having such a hard time letting go. It has been so nice having all this family support over the past few weeks taking care of Lilly. This has been a week of many many tears. . . Luckily, I am off on Friday's and Nanna Einstein is going to help out.
